Is eating liver before an anabolic weight lifting workout dangerous?

I heard that because it contains so much hormonal cholesterol, it's like injecting myself with testosterone, but it's a safe way to get it because since it's in animal form, it's easily metabolized.
Anyone know if this idea is valid?

Eating liver is not like injecting yourself with testosterone. Cholesterol and testosterone are not really linked. Vitamin A, however, is in liver, and regular Vitamin A intake can increase testosterone production. That said, it happens in a slow way, not in an immediate way.

Still, it's encouraged to not eat liver more than once or twice a week, because there's still a lot of controversy over how much Vitamin A someone can eat before reaching toxic levels.
