Strength Training Program
Training Program - Strength for baseball?
Just wondering if someone could provide me with a site, or write up a quick training program for baseball. I want to increase my strength and speed, but i also want to gain some Fitness. I've created one of my own but it's always good to have a second opinion and hopefully get some extra Exercises to do. I don't have medicine balls. Just dumbbells, a bench press, and a pretty average machine.

One of my favorite exercises when I played baseball was hitting this old rubber truck tire with a cut through it that was either hung from a chain or tied to post. The goal was to hit it hard enough so that the bat passes through the tire with a complete follow through. With enough repetition, this drill will build you power. After doing this Exercise I was finally able to hit a monster home run in high school.
