What happens if my doctor changes my prescription after I've ordered from an online pharmacy?

Nowadays we can order everything online, from books to electronics to vacations. Did you know that you can order many popular over-the-counter and non-prescription medications online too? However, you may not be able to return open medications or, for online pharmacies based in British Columbia, any medications that have left their pharmacy (under the BC College of Pharmacists bylaw 5 (33 subsection 1) or the Alberta College of Pharmacists Standard 5.1 (m) Standards of Practice.

Reputable online pharmacies are licensed and subject to the same provincial and other regulations governing brick and mortar pharmacies. As with any prescription pharmacy purchase, you are required to send an online pharmacy your doctor's prescription before you can order under-the-counter drugs. If your doctor changes your prescription, then you will need to send the new prescription to have it changed in your online pharmacy records, just as you would with a conventional accredited pharmacy. Your new prescription can be faxed or snail-mailed to the pharmacy.

You can also find generic versions of the brand-name drugs that your doctor may recommend. These generic drugs are exactly the same as the brand-name ones, except that the patent on them has expired, allowing other companies to manufacture them. As they did not bear the costs of researching and developing the medication, these companies are able to market it at a significantly lower cost. If your doctor prescribes the brand-name version, you can still purchase its generic version without another prescription. Ask your local online Canadian pharmacy if you have any questions.

Does anyone know how to get prescription medicines without a prescription?

This is not for the purpose of abusing drugs or anything like that. I'm just wondering if you can get meds online(preferably a safe and legal way)without having a prescription. I have only seen the Canadian pharmacy online which requires a prescription.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
