Are men and women in the same barracks in marine boot camp Training?
Do the women doing boot camp in the Marines stay in the same barracks and train with the guys, or are they in a different place until you get your eagle globe and anchor?
Females are trained at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. Their barracks are separate from the males and the two groups do not interact with each other.
There were a few occasions where, because of the occasionally large class sizes in the summer, females and males were training side by side on the rifle ranges. They were not allowed to interact or fraternize with each other. Hope that helps.
