When you workout, or are in a game, your muscles break down. You need your muscles to recover as fast as possible. Without the proper diet your muscles wont recover fast and your putting your muscles at great risk of serious injuries that could crush your goals.
Don't underestimate the importance of a good balanced nutrition program, to go along with a sensible home workout program. That again is why its so important to know what you have to do to reach your full ability.
One of the big mistakes that lots of athletes make is that they let other people decide for them which kind of fitness training they need. They just want to improve basketball skills, but don't understand why certain aspects are needed, they just do what their told, right or wrong.
I can't stress enough that its your responsibility to yourself to know and understand what you have to do. Don't let others make that decision for you. Your the only one that can make the right decision for whats right for you.
If your not getting the results you need from the fitness training program you are, or were involved with, don't hesitate to ask questions of people you know and trust that has had good results with the training they did.
Working hard and working smart, is part of what you need. Being consistent with your fitness training is not easy, but is very important. You have to have the mental energy that will allow you to continue with your workout even when you don't want to.

is there any Training Programs for just started bicycler?
i have just bought my first bike yesterday and road for 9km and when i returned all i could do was lay there.yes i know that is a poor effort and my fitness is down.
i use to run approx 10km every second day 2 years ago and i was tied but nothing like i was after a ride. is bike riding a harder work out or am i unfit.
can someone give me some work out tips to build my strenght and fitness. my goal is to do a minni triathalon at the end of the year.
