Army Boot Camp Workouts
San Diego Boot Camp for Weigh Loss
Boot Camp Classes are popping up all over the place today. Chances are if you live near a beach or park you will see a few individuals participating in a boot camp class. San Diego has become a hot spot for boot camp classes. Seeming to be the newest Fitness trend, boot camp classes are building momentum and are a huge alternative to gym workouts. This article will give you insight into what goes on during a boot camp class so you can determine if it is right for you.
With the weather we experience, San Diego boot camp classes can be a great addition to your Fitness Routine. What exactly is a boot camp class? This will depend on the trainer for the atmosphere that you experience during a class. Most trainers will not treat their class like an army boot camp, but there are some drill sergeants out there that will yell and push you. Do some research and you will be able to find the instructor that fits your personality. For the most part it is similar to any group Exercise class. There will be a mix of cardio and Strength Exercises. Most exercises will involve Body Weight Exercises so very few equipment is needed. While each class is different there are some common activities that you will complete. Some of these are body weight circuits (push ups, squats, lunges, pull ups, sprints….), relay races, partner exercises, and obstacle courses. Classes can be for beginners and for advance fitness enthusiasts. If you have a good instructor he or she will be able to modify exercises that fit your level.
There are many reasons that you may want to consider participating in a San Diego boot camp class. First, it is a great way to burn calories and build muscle. Most boot camp workouts will be a high intensity Workout. In an hour you may burn 700 calories or more with a good workout. If you hate doing cardio like running, riding the bike, or other gym equipment exercise, boot camp is a great alternative to get your heart rate up. Because of the format of the class you will also perform many Strength Exercises and build lean body mass. Boot camp is also a great change of pace. It is too common that people start an Exercise Program, get bored, and quit. With boot camp you are constantly changing up your workout and learning new exercises each class. It is easy to stay on the same program and not change it up. With each class you always experience something new. These classes are also great places to meet others that have the same interests as you. It is always fun seeing relationships build during a workout. Finally, joining a boot camp class is very similar to having a Personal Trainer. You will not get the one on one attention but you have an appointment for exercise to keep each week, a professional to keep you accountable, and someone to watch you workout to make sure you are pushing yourself and performing exercises correctly.
With the beautiful weather we experience year round in San Diego, take advantage of getting a great workout outside. Get help staying on track and workout harder than you ever could on your own. If you are looking for new, fun ways to workout, Lose Weight, and build muscle try a boot camp class.

Do I REALLY need to eat after this Workout Routine? And if so, what and why? Thanks!?
First of all my goal is to build some strength and to tone up... pretty much to get decently fit. I'm 20 years old, female, 5'8 at 132 pounds. Here's what I do at my boxer conditioning:
My routine workout (3 times a week) includes stretching, abdominal toning, flexibility exercises for approximately 20 minutes.
After this, I do a variable jog/run, which also includes other exercises during the activity.
And after that, I do Circuit Training of 5 rounds, each lasting 3 minutes. It reminds me of an army boot camp, drop down and give me twenty sorta deal.
Eating is always a good idea, as long as it has the right amount of protein an carbs ratio(1.25 to 1). But if you just don't have the time to make a good well rounded meal. Your best alternative is a whey protein shake and maybe a fruit(acai or any type of dark berry) blended with it. And a daily vitamin that is high in antioxidants should help with your re-coup time.
If you eat within 20 min of your workout, your body absorbs the most proteins with minimal waste as well as help reduce cortisol / lactose levels( causes soreness).
Antioxidant helps reduce free radicals from accumulating, very important. Free radicals is what rust would be for metal for the body. Over time it takes its toll.
Remember you can have an awesome race car but without the proper fuel it isn't going to run well
