Im about to ship out for the army?
I ship out on tuesday and i have a few questions i hope someone can anwser before i go! The bouns money i got for the job i picked(42A) and being on the delyed entry program...when do i recieve that money? also about how much am i gonna have by the end of graduation? I got my promotion to by completeing the task list and doing the PT things to make E-2...when does that promotion take effect? after i graduate boot camp? Also one of the sheets in my orginal enlistment packets said that my reception is a week long and that my BAsic(fort Jackson) will start july 4th...will it really take that long? and if it doesnt does boot camp start early?
You will not receive your bonus until you get to your unit, which is after AIT. You will be an E-2 when you get to Ft. Jackson, so your pay will be based off that. Reception does take the whole first week, and after that will be when your formal basic Training starts.
